Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Preferences for DHA
Preferences for the DHA HCV wait list have been revised. There are seven possible preference points for an applicant to select. The new Admin Plan was revised in July 2018. Please click here for the document that explains the NEW preferences process. This process will require applicants to update their preferences as their situation changes while on the wait list. Please remember that the new preference point process requires that any preference selected by an applicant MUST be their CURRENT situation when they are CALLED OFF THE WAIT LIST and must prove them with documentation. This new process allows the housing authority to meet the need of those most vulnerable, and allows them to be prioritized on the wait list if selected.
Rent Café Registration Instructions
Applicants are able to create their user account if they do not already have one on Tuesday, January 29th in preparation of the wait list opening. The Housing/Rent Café user account allows access to any DHA and/or KHA Wait List that is administered. Please click here for how an applicant can create their user account.
