The National Alliance for Safe Housing (NASH) has released a toolkit for homelessness housing providers who work with victims of domestic and sexual violence.

The Toolkit’s focus on safety planning will help providers better link to victims’ services and ensure that survivors receive the support needed.

This toolkit is designed to provide resources and information that can boost your ability to confidently offer housing services that are meaningful, safe, and grounded in best practices for a survivor population. It’s not intended to replace the role of the victim services advocate, and it doesn’t provide everything needed to work effectively with survivors. It is strongly suggested that you seek additional training and work closely with your local domestic and sexual violence program/s.
