The DuPage County CoC is charged with promoting community-wide planning and strategic use of resources to address homelessness, enhance coordination and integration of mainstream resources targeted to people experiencing homelessness, improve data collection and the reporting of system performance measures, and support community programs which assist vulnerable individuals and families within our community.
The CoC consists of representatives from relevant organizations within DuPage County such as nonprofit homeless assistance providers, victim services providers, faith based organizations, governments, businesses, advocates, public housing agencies, school districts, social service providers, behavioral health agencies, hospitals, universities, affordable housing developers, law enforcement, organizations that serve Veterans, and persons experiencing homelessness as well as those with lived experience.
Membership in the DuPage County CoC consists of both Individual and Organizational memberships. Members may choose to be a part of the General Membership, be active on one or more of the Continuum’s standing Committees, or as needed a subcommittee. The Continuum consists of eight standing Committees and an Appeals Committee.
